Join us for the premiere of Dry Bones at the AcA in downtown Lafayette as part of the Festivals Acadiens et Créoles. Over the course of afternoon and early evening sessions, this special event will feature a screening of the entire series, conversations with the team behind Dry Bones, and a number of special performances.

On Friday, Oct. 9, dive into the “why” of our festival at our symposium, where our artists, educators, and community leaders meet at the crossroads of tradition and innovation.
This year we go deeper than ever, with the help of Smithsonian. We’ll be examining South Louisiana’s cultural history alongside Smithsonian’s Folklife work, within the wider context of the nation’s 250th anniversary. This year’s festival theme, “Revolution and Evolution: Celebrating 250 Years of Cultural Fusion on the Bayou,” promises a rich examination of French Louisiana today.
